St. Croix United Book Club

St. Croix United Book Club is open to the wider community!
We aim to read books that matter from diverse genres, topics, and authors.

Calling all readers! Watch for upcoming dates and books here!

Join us for a post-Easter discussion of Jennifer Harvey's book,
Anti-Racism as a Daily Practice. It is full of real-life stories that guide us in making antiracism an ongoing commitment for the well-being of our democracy.

Our book club offers another way of being in community.  Whether you've read the book or not, you're welcome to come and listen or join in the discussions.  Copies are available at Valley Bookseller in Stillwater with a 15% discount, and there are e-book copies available at the Washington County Library.

Join us Sunday mornings, April 27 & May 4 at 11am (following worship) at St. Croix United Church or via Zoom. (email Megan to receive the Zoom link at [email protected])

Join us Thursday evenings, May 15 & 29 at 6:30pm at St. Croix United Church or via Zoom. (email Megan to receive the Zoom link at [email protected])

Garden Gathering
(a twice monthly gathering of women)

Typically meets on 1st & 3rd Thursday mornings
indoors at church (sometimes outdoors in warm months)

We settle into our gatherings by reading and discussing a brief devotion from the UCC Daily Devotional. We find purpose and meaning in developing friendships. All are welcome and we encourage newcomers!

Contact Megan in the church office for time and location details of next gathering.

Our choir invites participation by any youth (gr. 6+) or adult who enjoys singing and reads music. We rehearse most Sundays (September-May), 8:30-9:15am, and sing anthems twice per month.
